Ex-Nigeria President Babangida's Man-ANAC vice chairman in 419 scandal

Mohammed Bagudu; the said Ex-President of Nigeria, Ibrahim Babangida's authorized spokes person in the United States who is also the vice chairman of some Organization called All Nigerian American Congress (ANAC) is in 419 scandal.

The court gave Mr. Bagudu up to Tueday the 30th 0f May 2006 to repay Ms. Miriam Campbell, $4,981, but has yet to pay. On March 30th 2006, Bagudu signed an agreement with the court appointed Mediator in District Court of Maryland, Annapolis in Anne Arundel County to repay $4,981.00 to Ms. Campbell within sixty days. However, Bagudu is said to have completely failed to honor his own agreement and yet to repay a dime. Bagudu is said to boastfully claim legal backing from ANAC organization on how to beat the system.

In 2005, Bagudu who is also into car dealing when not tending to IBB’s agenda sold a 1998 Honda Accord car to Ms. Campbell for six thousand dollars in which he is said to have misrepresented the condition of the car. Miriam who claimed she was scammed into buying a lemon by Bagudu immediately asked for a full refund which Bagudu agreed to via email. When it became apparent that Bagudu is again playing game, she went to court in an effort to get her money back. Armed with evidence of Bagudu's handwritten note, cancelled checks and some other documents, she filed a civil suit against him.

Muhammed Bagudu selling a phony book launch to unsuspecting members of his then organization. He conned out of members $1.500 a pop. "Heritage of Reform" a book launched three years earlier and unknown to his members it was already available on the street market of Lagos, Nigeria prior to this day in picture.
Muhammed is said to be conversant with money swindling business popularly known among Nigerians as 419. Sometimes in 2004 he chaired an organization call Nigerian Democracy Project where Miriam met him. The organization’s main objective was to facilitate the process of “legitimate democracy” and by ensuring the successful come back of the ex-military head of state, Ibrahim Babangida in 2007. Bagudu is said to have letter of endorsement from Babangida with which he uses to trap men of little mind.

During the short life of the organization, Muhammed is said to have lived off the organization’s purse, plus the five million naira donated by Babangida himself. Word got out to members about his scam, so the organization collapsed. However, this will not end his swindling career. Sharing the same state origin (Niger state) with Babangida has never been this profitable until Bagudu met Dan Edokpolo Austin, the man who is said to have questionable medical license himself.

Muhammed not fluent in expressing himself in English claimed to have graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria —not sure. He claimed to have chaired Nigerian Youth Association to the United Nations —lie. He also said he was once the president of NPN youth group, Niger state branch during Shagari regime —lie again. He claimed Babangida promised him ambassadorial position come 2007 —illusion. One thing is a fact; he is the vice chairman of some ANAC organization. The organization he claimed backs him legally for any legal action against him to faze him.

Miriam said, “Unsurprisingly, Muhammed came to court coached with some legal terminologies, instead he appeared as if he was flipping index cards in his head struggling to remember the words but ended in mangled phraseology and that’s what I called an unintelligent train of thought. In honor of my agreement with the court I can't say much at this time.”

If Mr. Austin is using his organization frittering away time, energy and resources promoting irresponsible leadership then he will soon stand public trial against gross negligence, incompetence, unprofessional conduct and failure to promote good reputation on behalf of the people and the countries whose names his organization is using.

Although, Mr. Austin is fully aware of Bagudu's activities, he is said not to be bothered by it. One can understand why moral obligations do not matter to these men. The young lady singer that performed during one of the organization's showy events was refused payment until her angry email started circulating.

Assuming Mr. Austin's impulse to tap Babangida through Muhammed Bagudu did not impaired his moral judgment, he would have focused his organization to creating a model leadership, something that is seriously lacking in Nigeria.

Dan Austin is the organizer and chairman of ANAC and has since tailored his organization’s objectives to accommodate Bagudu and his activities. The new objectives include legal advice and Immigration support but Dr. Austin will need to physically adopt Bagudu as a son to be able to somewhat remedy his Immigration troubles; time will tell. We will keep you posted on next court date.
